Abydos Designer 7.1 Released

Abydos are pleased to announce the release of Abydos Designer 7.1.
This new release further enhances the value Abydos Designer can deliver to organisations attempting to deploy or upgrade to ITSM 7 applications or who simply want to use a best-practice, process-driven approach to application deployment and management.
Some of the new product features and benefits include:
Status History Tracking: Use this option to display graphically, the time-lines associated with the status history for selected requests from your Remedy applications:
For ITSM 7 applications, the colouring of the timelines is automatically mapped onto the phases within the ITIL life-cycle for each application. For example, Change applications have a separate colour to represent each of the 5 phases, Initiate, Plan & Authorise, Plan & Schedule, Implement and Close.
Service Management Assistant: As demand grows for simple best-practice process-driven solutions, Abydos have launched the Service Management Assistant to help end-users to follow the required process steps within their applications. This is achieved by using a wizard presentation that can be lauched at any time and present the work-instructions according to the user's role and the current status of the request.
The Service Management Assistant can be used in conjuction with Abydos Designer to allow administrators to customise the processes and work-instructions that they want users to follow.
