Abydos wins major contract in transport industry

Abydos announced today that it had secured a major new contract in the transport industry for its flagship product Abydos Designer.
The contract involves the design and delivery of a complex asset and defect management system driven by a number of key business processes. The solution is based around Abydos Designer for process design and management, and BMC Remedy for rapid form design and presentation.
One of the key drivers in selecting Abydos for this project was the agility, flexibility and scalability of the product. This will allow the customer to extend the system to support new requirements in 2008 and beyond by customising and expanding on the process definitions.
Using Abydos Designer to enforce process logic means that data is captured accurately by the right people at the right time, ensuring that quality standards are adhered to and accurate reports can be generated for management and other industry representatives.
