Abydos secures contract for Abydos Designer with major Gas company in Middle East

Abydos announced today that it had secured a new contract for the supply of Abydos Designer plus support and services to a major gas company in the middle East.
The contract involves the delivery of Abydos Designer alongside the BMC Remedy ITSM 7.5 suite. Abydos Designer will provide the process modelling capability to ensure that the customer's processes are designed, built and delivered with the minimum of risk and without the need for extensive customisation.
One of the customer's key requirements was the supply of a graphical workflow Designer that could work in harmony with the the ITSM application, not only for designing processes but for enforcing process logic within the application. This was a mandatory requirement and a key component which helped BMC to secure the business in the face of strong competition from other vendors.
Using Abydos Designer to enforce process logic means that process steps and data capture are assigned accurately to the right people at the right time, ensuring that quality standards are adhered to and accurate reports can be generated for management and other industry representatives without the need for extensive customisation.
