"There were a few reasons we went with the Abydos Designer software.
One of the main reasons is that SRM by design has absolutely no direct task management integration with any of the modules. Our main need was to incorporate incident management templates and task templates. However, without major customization or using the advanced interface form, we would not be able to do this with OOB SRM.
The other is that even though we are designing custom processes within Abydos, there is a versioning tool and export/import function to implement across multiple environments and allowing easy rollback.
Outside of SRM, I think that the request wizard, and other integrations will enable us to easily administer and use the ITSM suite as a whole."
